Sweding movies is an art form that rewards the amateur: get a bunch of friends together, buy them beers, make the best trailer for ALIEN or THE PELICAN BRIEF that you can with what you have lying around your apartment.

Paradoxically, while these should be made in somebody’s backyard, they’re best viewed at a theater that occasionally shows episodes of Twin Peaks on the big screen.

If you’re in Pittsburgh, PA there is a film festival happening this weekend, but there is likely one near you happening some time this year. If there isn’t, you should make one!
