Driving a Mouse to the Woods After You Catch It

They usually show up in my house when it’s cold, and you want to free them as soon as you can which generally means early morning. You can’t release them near the house or they’ll just come back in. That means driving down to the woods near the park, walking a little way in, and letting the little guy go in the frosty hour before dawn. It is the closest I get to the life of the pioneers.
