Electric Boogaloo: The Untold Story of Cannon Films (2014)

Cannon films almost-a-ponzi-scheme style of film production brought Ninjas, Lambada, Chuck Norris, and “The Apple” into the popular mind. The documentary is long, and for the most part is a quick quote from a now-famous and credible participant saying “I can’t believe that movie actually got made” followed by an absurd clip from the movie they’re talking about. This turns out to work pretty well as a movie itself.
