Jim Henson’s “The Storyteller”

Jim Henson spent the back half of his career taking big Don Quixote-ass psychedelic swings. Of all these follies “The Storyteller” is the one that lands the best. It is complete, novel, dark, charming, a thing-in-itself. “The Soldier and Death” is the best episode.
