Bread makers are silly, but the fresh bread is not silly, it is fresh bread. The bread isn’t better than fresh bread you bake the old fashioned way, or fresh bread from a professional bakery, but it is better than any bread they will sell you at the Giant Eagle Grocery Store, and it costs like 70 cents a loaf.
