Complex Technical Diagrams in Children’s Media

I have a copy of a 1950’s EAGLE annual, clearly aimed at ten year olds, with many pages dedicated to engineering diagrams of a steam train boiler. Dan Dare often contained detailed technical diagrams of made up stuff - the children of the late 1950’s appear to have been wild for schematics.
