This is a miniseries from One Heat Minute productions that is much more complex and interesting than the recent more hagiographic “Idea Man” documentary. Don’t get me wrong, the miniseries paints Henson as a magic wizard genius, which seems accurate tbh, but it also talks about the costs of Henson’s life’s work. It’s not a sad story, precisely, but it isn’t quite a happy one.
I think people trying to make a personal vision into a reality should listen to this.
(I think that people who aren’t trying to make a personal vision a reality in some capacity should have some sort of very clear account about why they aren’t, too.)
