
Zachtronics made puzzle games that captured the psychic state of programming without requiring a lot of arcane knowledge about systems and algorithms. At a moment when that sort of puzzling seems to be less and less relevant to people’s day jobs, these games preserve computing as pure delight.
I’ve linked “Opus Magnum”, which is abstract and not particularly computer-centric, but I’d also recommend TIS-100 and ExaPunks.
