Theater of Blood (1973) Is Violent Vincent Price Silliness

More Dr Phibes than Dr Phibes, Vincent Price is a Shakespear-inspired serial killer of theater critics. Quoth Price in the linked interview “You try to play things … with a bit of good taste, but it’s awfully hard to saw somebody’s head off with the very best of taste.” I strongly and unironically recommend this movie as Price’s best work.
